📖 Client Stories

Real client vacation stories and reviews featuring personalized Disney vacation planning, family cruises, multigenerational travel and all-inclusive resorts planned by Travel Advisor Melissa Kleinschmidt.

Every vacation has a story. The planning does too.

No two travelers are exactly alike, which means the “best” vacation isn’t the same for everyone.

A family planning a Disney vacation may need help choosing the right resort, understanding transportation, deciding where to eat and figuring out how to make the most of their park days. A family planning a cruise may need help choosing the right ship and itinerary. And sometimes, travelers come to me knowing they want a vacation but having no idea where they should go.

That’s why I don’t start with what’s most popular.

I start with the traveler.

Patricia came to me for her family’s Disney vacation. There were resorts, restaurants, transportation, rides and countless details to consider. Afterward, she shared that my recommendations “made planning so much easier” and gave her family “confidence that we were making the most of our vacation.” She said the experience was special and stress-free.

Valerie was planning a multigenerational Disney vacation with her family and parents. We worked through the resort, itinerary, dining recommendations and all those Disney details that can quickly become overwhelming. After returning home, she said, “We loved our resort and the places that Melissa recommended for dinner. We couldn’t be happier!”

Regina’s story started somewhere completely different: Hawaii.  She was planning a large multigenerational family vacation, but they really had no idea where they should go. We talked through the different possibilities and what would work best for her family. They ultimately chose the brand-new Norwegian Luna, sailing from Miami through the Western Caribbean.  When they returned, Regina told me that family members kept coming up to her and thanking her because it was the best vacation they had ever taken. In her review, she called me a “top shelf professional travel planner” and specifically mentioned the detailed day-to-day itinerary that put everything they needed “right in the palm of our hands.”

Then there’s Silvana.  She was considering a cruise, particularly Disney Cruise Line, and felt overwhelmed by the ships, itineraries and choices. We spent nearly an hour talking through the options and answering her questions.  She didn’t book a vacation with me.  But she still left a five-star review.  She said I “explained the differences between the ships and itineraries, shared helpful tips, and made what initially felt overwhelming much easier to understand.” Most importantly, she walked away feeling “much more informed and confident about planning a future trip.”

And Theresa captured another part of what I want my clients to experience. After her vacation, she wrote that she was grateful for “a wonderfully planned trip that I didn’t have to spend hours of research and planning on.” Instead, she could simply show up and enjoy it.

Different travelers. Different destinations. Different needs.  But that’s exactly the point.

Personalized vacation planning isn’t about giving every client the same recommendations. It’s about asking the right questions, doing the research and helping each traveler make better vacation decisions.

I do the research and the planning, so you can travel with confidence and peace of mind.
